In the process of Ina's first recognized show and it is going really well. I did two rides today and she was very well behaved in the first one and we won our class with a 67.2% (and yes that is a good score for you non horse people). The second ride was in the outdoor arena and she was bit more distracted out there and a little bit tired but we still got third and a 64.4% so I was still happy with her. Not so happy when I walked back from the trailer and saw her choking in her stall though. I was just like ooooooooh shit no. But she got over it and she was ok, but choking is not good, I think she just wolfed down her hay a little too fast. That's what happens when she acts like such a piggy. and Jaime from the equestrian team came out and I got to chat with her a bit which was neat, I am going to be quite sad when I am not returning to Claremont at the end of August. I will, however, be going to Atlanta which is exciiiiiiiiiting.
I told my employer that my last day is gonna be August 25th, right before I leave for Atlanta. She is just a difficult person to work for and I don't really want to be working out there for the next year so it seems like a good time to call it off. I am sort of looking for jobs that will start in September. At the same time though it would be nice to have all of September to finish up my vet school applications, so we shall see. I applied for one at Lewis & Clark College , a lab assistant position which I feel like I'm well qualified. I'm hoping to at least get an interview, but if not then oh well. Nothing much else to report. I saw the batman movie and enjoyed it a lot, Heath Ledger did a good job being amazingly creepy.
