eh hem

My animal nutrition class starts tomorrow (it's an online course, my last pre-req for vet school). The prof put up the first readings today and also put up a practice quiz to give an example of how blackboard quizzes work and what kinds of questions he asks.

So one was how many pyruvate, ATP, and NADH are formed from one round of glycolysis?
Should be 2, 4, 2 yeah? (Yes it should)

In his answer (it showed them after the quiz was completed) it showed it as 2, 2, 2.

DUDE. DUDE. There is a NET GAIN of 2 ATP but FOUR are formed. Srsly now, brush up on your glycolysis details or re-word the question!

Ok, nerdy biochem rant is now over.

I am looking forward to the class, the prof seems to be trying to make it a good class and I've heard it is actually pretty good for an online class and that it's not too hard. wooooooooooo.

And you said my post was nerdy? Maybe this is why it's an online course; because if this were in class, you might have been tempted to say "eh hem" in a really obnoxious way.
